my foolish heart is again trapped
begging for the same sort of desires

when the night falls entirely
it pulses frankly as a freak addict

only when the day aspires
my foolish heart is asleep and tired

then forgets what it has been like
to be confined to laughter and cry

constant craving for a pause to relish
my foolish heart is indulging in fantasy

becoming exhausted and lost in hallucination
it's not a disease subject to interpretation

my foolish heart just wants to be jazzy.
