Embraceable you**

Here on the far shore
a mirage is what appears
on the horizon of my eyes;
the intersection of sea and sphere
in a curved line
enfolds my shoulders
and I feel in safe hands
as free as waves
coming and going,
rolling unceasingly
in a kind of blue
as clear as the water
as infinite as the sky
as tender as the far away
embraceable arms
that carry me now.
